Diamond Hill Vineyards has been growing fine wine grapes since 1976. In over 30 years of growing Pinot Noir, no herbicides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers have ever been used.

This 2006 Estate Pinot Noir is still quite young, having only recently been bottled from it's French oak barrel. This wine is subjected to strict burgundian wine making methods that include cold soak of un-crushed grapes, partial use of wild yeast, slow fermentation, malo-lactic fermentation and french oak aging. All transfer of wine is gravity fed so that the finished wine is never pumped, fined or filtered.

Soft, full bodied tannins, briary fruit tones, with a hint of new oak.
