The noble Pinot Noir..
The Berntson family planted their first vines in 1976. Planting has continued and 4 acres of the noble grape Pinot Noir is now growing. Peaches are also being grown.
Because fine Pinot Noir requires long aging, the Berntsons decided to revive the old New England tradition of making wine from New England fruits such as apples, cranberries, peaches and blueberries. The tradition has been updated using modern equipment and techniques. The complex and delicious wines that result are rapidly becoming true New England classics.
The 220 year old vineyard house and gift shop is situated in 34 acres of beautiful surroundings. The front lawn is available for events and occasions such as wedding ceremonies, photo opportunities, bridal and baby showers, anniversary parties, etc. Up to 60 people can be accomodated under our tent and gazebo.
